Trond and Ingve finally flew solo today. Sven from Drammen flew his FIB. Frode and Ingve drove in from Kvinesdal. Fun meeting Frode and Sven and having a great day FIBING! Trond og Ingve var officially døpt av Harald!

Trond flew in from F.fjord, landed very nicely near Tinnfoss, Kvinesdal, then flew on to Sandvann and Storekvina on his way back to F.fjord. Watch those live wires near Tinfoss!

All of a sudden I heard a lawn mower like buzz out my window. There hanging high in the sky was crazy fly boy Trond Dugan, waving and swinging his flying machine, in a wide loop, with Norkse Knutens antennae visable in the distance. So I run out on the porch and start snapping pics while my 81 year old dad, still in underwear, starts shouting and jumping on one leg, excited...Why it seems everyone on this little hill in Kvinesdal is out on their porch, looking up, pointing, ... Thats the magic of this incredible flying machine, the FIB. Its like the old days barnstorming around, in one of those amazing biplane contraptions, held together by nothing more than spit and glue.
