I am starting to rebuilt a FIB in Costa Rica; it was sitting near the beach and the wing tubes have some corrosion. Does any one know how to stop the aluminum corrosion ? How dangerous is to fly with this corrosion; it is about 25% of the aluminum thickness in some places, the corrosion spots are libe one dollar coin.
On the other hand , if i have to buy a new wing, would you sudggest a strutted 19 North Wing, a 17 Manta RST Gibbo strutted wing or a Polaris factory wing?

Thank's. I spoke with Aimao and I will send some pictues with the corosion fo him to analize. If I have to buy a new wing, wich wing do you recomend, Giboo 17 or 19, north wing 19 or polaris ?, I like strutted, it looks easear to handle on the FIB.
What do you think about wings for FIB's ?,, Thank's fo your coments.
