A few of us like myself are paraglider pilots and fly with a helmet since it is one piece of equipment absolutely neccessary. I would never fly in a FIB without one, and would mandate one for anyone ...

I personally feel the guard is a good idea, and I am used to them on paramotors when paragliding. Trond does not believe it is necessary, practically speaking, since there is a small weight issue. ...
